What was the role?

As the Social Media Manager, I was expected to produce 6 posts a month, engage with the community at least once a day while maintaining the global & Aussie voice to the brand.

What were the role expectations?

  • Keeping up with releases & talking about games is just a small part of engaging with the community. Knowing the language, the current buzz & beloved brands elevated the way I engaged with the community.

  • Getting on top of trends & trying to be part of the trendsetters is half the battle. Trendspotting posts were developed, created & approved in just under 12 hours with need for approval from the global team.

  • Streamers were the main audience. Making sure to elevate their voices in any conversation is essential to the brands ToV. The account had numerous fans that were excited to engage with the posts.

  • By using my gaming knowledge, trendspotting and community growth it was easy to increase engagement. The community loved reacting, reposting, quoting and sharing our posts.
