An SPC Foundation-inspired rave with extensive lore
The Brief
Provided with the lore for ‘Experiment 4’, I was asked to supply & sell material associated with the event. The lore contains four distinct groups: the Hazmats, the Scientists, the Department of Tactical Theology, and the Administration. My goal was to create three distinct zines that could exist in-universe, material that would be provided to or written by each department.
Design Constraints
SITE 515 has a dark red motif, with a visual preference for ‘found footage’ horror aesthetics mixed with scientific diagrams. As a rave, it leans into various punk aesthetics with graffiti and traditional zine collage elements.

The Scientists:
THE VOID
The Scientists’ perspective follows a case-file presentation style, using ‘found footage’ elements from previous promotional material. Constructed like a traditional SCP file, with incident reports and entity behaviours, it retells the effects of The Void over the last 3 events.
The Department of Tactical Theology:
THE HORNED GOD
The Horned God is an entity worshiped by Tactical Theology, and so the design elements borrow from occult and punk aesthetics. The zine outlines their beliefs in a lyrical way that mimics worship of this god.
The Hazmats:
Hazmat’s Field Guide
Written like a survival guide, with the bare essentials to keep the on-site workers alive, the guide is intentionally elusive. Designed like a safety manual that’s already seen some action, it’s a lot more playful and straight forward than the previous two.
End Product
I designed custom manila folders to fit the event’s aesthetic for people buying the collection and had custom business cards made.
